Report abuse and legal requests
How to report abuse of ChronoProxy services, send copyright notices and submit law-enforcement or government requests.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Who we are
Company details will be published here after registration. We sell proxy services (the "Services"). Our customers connect to websites through our gateway and, for residential and mobile proxies, through the networks of our upstream providers ("Network Partners"). Each customer has an account with us (an "Account"). On this page, "you" means the person sending a report or request.
Our Acceptable Use Policy says what customers may not do with the Services.
2. What to report
Please report any use of our Services for:
- Spam: unsolicited bulk email, messages, comments or sign-ups.
- Fraud: phishing, payment or card fraud, ad or click fraud, scams, fake accounts.
- Credential stuffing and account takeover: automated login attempts with stolen or guessed credentials.
- Attacks: denial-of-service, scanning, exploitation of vulnerabilities, malware distribution or control.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any content that sexually exploits children. We report it to the relevant authorities as the law requires.
- Copyright infringement: see section 5 for copyright notices.
- Other abuse: any other unlawful or harmful use, or use that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. How to report
Use the form on this page or email [email protected]. One report can cover many events.
To help us find the customer responsible, please include:
- Our exit IP address: the IP address that connected to your systems.
- Timestamp with time zone: the exact date and time of each event, for example "2026-10-21 14:03:22 UTC". Times without a time zone are hard to use.
- Destination: the domain, IP address, port or URL that was targeted.
- Logs: relevant log lines, such as web server, firewall or mail logs, ideally with source ports. Please send them as plain text in the email body or as a text attachment.
- Description: what happened, how it affected you and how many events you saw.
- Your contact details: your name, organization and email address, so that we can ask questions.
Please do not send CSAM or other illegal material itself. Describe it and give the URLs, times and IP addresses instead.
Exit IPs are shared. The same exit IP address may be used by different customers at different times, so we can only match an event to a customer if you give us the exact time and time zone. For residential and mobile proxies, exit IPs come from our Network Partners' networks. We do not store the websites our customers visit. We find the session behind an event from the exit IP and the exact time, and for residential and mobile proxies we do this together with our Network Partner. Our session log is kept for 14 days only, so please report as soon as you can.
4. What happens next
- Acknowledgement. We acknowledge every report within 1 business day.
- Investigation. We check your information against our records to find the customer and the activity. We may ask you for more details, and we may forward relevant information to a Network Partner when the report concerns its network.
- Action. If we find a breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, we may, depending on how serious it is:
- warn the customer;
- block the target for that customer, or for all customers;
- suspend the customer's Account;
- terminate the customer's Account.
We may block a target or suspend an Account while we investigate. We do not share the outcome when the law or our customers' privacy prevents it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data in reports.
5. Copyright notices
Send copyright notices to [email protected]. A notice should identify the copyrighted work, the infringing material or activity, our exit IP address and the timestamp with time zone, and your contact details. It should also include a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized, a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your physical or electronic signature.
We will add the details of our designated agent registered with the US Copyright Office to this page. We terminate the Accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
6. Law enforcement and government requests
Valid legal process. We disclose customer data to law enforcement and government authorities only in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order or warrant, that is properly served on ChronoProxy. We check each request and disclose only the data it lawfully covers.
Emergency requests. If there is a danger of death or serious physical injury, we may disclose data without legal process. Send an emergency request to [email protected] with "EMERGENCY" in the subject line. Describe the danger, explain why it is urgent and list the data you need.
Preservation. On a preservation request, we can preserve specific records for 90 days, and for another 90 days if the request is extended once. Send preservation requests as early as possible, because we keep the session log for 14 days only.
What data we may have:
- Account data: email address, Google account ID if used, sub-users.
- Billing data: top-ups and purchases, crypto wallet addresses and transaction IDs, invoices.
- A session log for the last 14 days: Account or sub-user, session, client IP, and the start and end time of each session.
- Which Dedicated IPs were assigned to which Account, and when.
- Traffic totals per Account, kept with billing records, and hourly usage figures for the last 30 days.
- Support conversations.
- Identity verification results, only if the customer was asked to verify.
What we do not have:
- The content of requests or responses (pages, files, form data, messages).
- The websites, domains, URLs, headers or cookies of customer connections.
- Session log entries older than 14 days, unless they were preserved for a legal request or an abuse case.
- Card numbers.
How to send a request. Send requests to [email protected] from an official government email address. Include the requesting authority, the name and contact details of the officer, the legal basis, the exit IP addresses and timestamps with time zone, and the data you need. We may refuse requests that are unclear, too broad or not legally valid.
7. Point of contact for EU authorities and users (Digital Services Act)
Under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), our single point of contact for Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and for users of our Services, is:
- Email: [email protected]
- Languages: English
Users can also write to [email protected]. People, not only automated tools, read and answer messages sent to these addresses.
